Right now, in the boardrooms of companies in Silicon Valley and beyond, a small group of people are making technology decisions that will shape the lives of billions of people without any oversight or engagement, and we must do better.

Gov AI brings government, technology, and citizens together. We work to create and be part of diverse and inclusive artificial intelligence policy councils that connect government officials and technology leaders, thought leaders, and citizens to create ethical values and principles as artificial intelligence develops.

The policy decisions we make now have to be in the best interest of humans.

The technologies we develop have to include humans at the core of their design.

Gov AI promotes and develops cognitive technologies that automate and digitize the tools that citizens use to interact with the government. We want government services that are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We want services that help people at a time when they need help the most.

We envision an artificially-intelligent centralized public benefits ecosystem where benefits like unemployment, social security, medical assistance, food stamps, and WIC are all connected; a platform where we can streamline enrollment across all benefits to create a better experience for the citizen, and promote better information sharing and learning for the government. We envision an emotionally-intelligent user interface that revolutionizes the way that people interact with the government through conversation.
