The People’s AI: AI Policy for All

We Need Ethical and Responsible AI

The policy decisions we make today must encourage the development of technology that is in the best interest of humanity. The future of AI governance will depend on how we navigate these ethical challenges.

Human-centric AI governance requires the use of diverse policy tools to address the ethical concerns AI presents. However, there is currently no comprehensive policy infrastructure in place in the US for regulating AI’s impact on society.

Building a Policy Infrastructure

We need a robust and comprehensive policy infrastructure for AI governance. Our goal is to build multidisciplinary and diverse AI policy councils at every level of government. These councils will ensure that AI benefits all people, helping guide us in making decisions that will shape the lives of everyone.

Ensuring Equitable AI

It’s vital that we prioritize equity in AI governance. This means designing AI systems in ways that benefit everyone, regardless of their background, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.

The Future of AI Governance

As AI evolves and becomes a larger part of our lives, the need for ethical and equitable AI governance grows. Developing a democratized policy framework will be crucial for ensuring that AI remains a tool that serves society as a whole.
